Movie and Popcorn: Akeelah and the Bee, an inspirational film about an 11-year-old girl with a gift for words from South Los Angeles who participates in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, overcoming difficult challenges along the way. This is a non-ticketed event. No reservations are necessary.

Young Children & Infants

Children and infants are welcome at the PACE Center and at the Schoolhouse Theater, but every child and infant (including babies in arms and “lap-sitters”) MUST have a paid ticket WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Food & Drink

You can certainly take drinks and snacks purchased at PACE or the Schoolhouse into the theater, but we kindly ask that you not bring along food or drink purchased off site other than bottled water in non-glass containers.
