Presented by Parker Arts

Sep 11, 2020 PACE Center

The Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra returns to PACE playing audience favorites from the last eight years! CJRO’s full, 18-piece big band will feature vocalist Heidi Schmidt performing “Bye Bye Blackbird,” “Invitation” from CJRO’s first CD and “Avalon,” made famous by jazz vocalist, Anita O’Day. Of course the band will open the concert with Count Basie’s version of “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” made famous by Ray Charles. You’ll also hear new Stevie Wonder arrangements from CJRO’s latest CD recording, Overjoyed, The Music of Stevie Wonder. This will be one continuous 75-minute set featuring the BEST of CJRO. Don’t miss it!
