This one-hour program illustrates the history of ballet from its beginnings in the peasant dances of the Renaissance to contemporary ballet. Included are demonstrations of the artful athleticism of ballet, a humorous classical mime scene, and audience participation. An interactive history of ballet from the Renaissance through to the present, with eight professional dancers. It’s an impressive, entertaining and humorous show that will expand ones understanding and appreciation of ballet.
