PACE Center Art Gallery Exhibit: Bright Futures Student Portfolio Exhibition

On March 6, art students from Chaparral, Douglas County, Legend, Lutheran, Ponderosa, and Valor high schools attended the third annual Portfolio Day at the PACE Center. For this exclusive event, students were handpicked by art teachers based on artistic ability and interest in pursuing a career in the arts. The purpose of Portfolio Day is to offer dedicated students one‐on‐one time with art professionals. This year, working artists along with professors from Denver University, University of Colorado, Metropolitan State University, Colorado Mountain College, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, the Art Students League of Denver, and Arapahoe Community College came together to offer insightful critiques, advice and encouragement to art students. The culmination of Portfolio Day is manifest in this exhibit; all the art on display was selected from student portfolios by the attending professors and art professionals. We hope you enjoy this remarkable glimpse into the bright futures of these truly talented up‐and‐coming artists.

Young Children & Infants

Children and infants are welcome at the PACE Center and at the Schoolhouse Theater, but every child and infant (including babies in arms and “lap-sitters”) MUST have a paid ticket WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Food & Drink

You can certainly take drinks and snacks purchased at PACE or the Schoolhouse into the theater, but we kindly ask that you not bring along food or drink purchased off site other than bottled water in non-glass containers.
