In this Workshop, the Average Joe Beekeeper will discuss why we need Honey Bees and how to support them through your gardening actions, hive hosting and even becoming a beekeeper. More than 1/3 of the food we eat is pollinated by Honey Bees and other pollinators. Through Beekeeping we gain a greater appreciation for Mother Nature and can observe how our actions can help effect the environment in a positive manner. At the end of this workshop the attendees with have a greater appreciation of the Honey Bee, will be able to determine if beekeeping is for them and will have a foundation for the next steps in getting their own bees.
